Does the price change if my house is big?
No. $499 is the whole package whether your home is 1,200 square feet or 5,000, and however many vents you have. Unlimited vents, unlimited cold air returns, one price, quoted before we arrive and unchanged after.
What is included, exactly?
Duct cleaning from top to bottom; unlimited vents and cold air return vents; all main lines and cold air return lines; the J panel; A/C coil cleaning; furnace blower cleaning; furnace cleaning; sanitizing with bacteria and mould removal; dryer vent cleaning on the main floor or in the basement; and a before-and-after video of your ducts. HST is extra.
Why is your price $499 when I see ads for $89?
Because the $89 covers a handful of vents, and the real number arrives once the van is in your driveway. Ours is the reverse: one number up front that already includes the two jobs everyone else charges extra for, the A/C coil and the furnace blower. If a company will not give you a whole-home price on the phone, that is the answer to your question.
How often do ducts actually need cleaning?
Honestly, less often than home services companies tell you. A proper clean is good for three to five years. Get it done sooner if you have just renovated, you can see dust drifting out of the supplies, or you have inherited someone else's dust and pet hair. Annual duct cleaning is a sales program, not a maintenance requirement.
How long does it take, and do I need to be home?
Two to three hours. Someone needs to let us in and be there at the end so we can walk you through the before-and-after video, but you do not need to hover. Most people carry on working in another room.
Is the dryer vent really included?
Yes, main floor or basement, in the $499. It is worth doing while we are already in the house because a clogged dryer vent is a genuine fire risk, not a comfort issue.
Will duct cleaning fix my hot and cold rooms?
Almost never, and we will tell you that before you book. Uneven temperatures are usually undersized returns, high static pressure or poor duct design, so the fix is air balancing or a ductwork retrofit rather than dirt removal. We would rather send you to the right service than take $499 for the wrong one.
What equipment do you use?
A professional truck-mounted vacuum paired with a 250 PSI compressor. The vacuum pulls your whole duct system negative into the truck while the compressed air drives debris out of every branch, so the dust ends up in our tank rather than back in your house. Not a shop vac and a brush on a drill.
Which cities do you cover?
Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Halton Hills, Mississauga, Hamilton and Brampton, out of our Oakville shop. If you are just outside that list, send the form anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you.
